Their flagship model is the Lucid Air a state-of-the-art luxury sedan with a California-inspired design that features luxurious full-size interior space in a mid-size exterior footprint. To support their in-house team in bringing the in-car digital experience of the Lucid Air to life, we created a specialist R&D team for them.

My role specifically
Over the course of twelve months, I worked directly with Lucid Motors to build the initial visual direction and brand expression into the digital UI parts of their car. I collaborated closely with Lucid's new design team, utilizing Sketch and Figma to transform product needs into UX flows for various vehicle product teams. I personally design all driving, parking, and security elements within the vehicle, animating the designs in After Effects and providing 3D renderings to aid stakeholder discussions.

I worked closely on-site with their in-house experts to help create a unique experience, built on a scalable, modular framework, that elevates and transcends the perceived limitations of space, performance, and intelligence. The Lucid Air won the highly coveted MotorTrend Car of the Year® award in 2022 and was named the 2023 World Luxury Car of the Year in the prestigious 2023 World Car Awards.
